Weekend Festivities!!!

Matthew's sister Ashlee went through the Temple on Saturday, she's leaving on her mission in less than two months! She is so excited and it was such a great opportunity to get the whole family together. Matthew's older sister Kirsti flew down for the weekend and we all hung out and celebrated the family birthday's for the months of July, August, AND September. We had a great time!

I want one...

We've decided to wait to have a baby for at least two more years...which is okay, because I seem to have enough medical problems without throwing a baby into the mix. However, I need something to keep me company until then. Can I have a wittle puppy?!?!

I saw one in the window of the pet shop the other day that was only $800.00 (A baby costs WAY more than that). I fell in love immediately, the problem you ask!!??! We can't have puppies in our complex. I told Matthew I was willing to live on the street. I REALLY need a puppy!

First Day of School...

My cute little sisters had their first day of school yesterday. I had to post these pictures like a proud "parent". We bought some of these clothes while my family was here visiting. Let me explain....
Miracle on her first day of school in the 5th grade, which is Middle School in Overgaard, AZ!

Mikaylaon her first day of third grade in her "Cheetah Outfit". This was the one outfit we let her pick out and naturally the one outfit she was determined to where the minute we purchased it. Her first day of school was the first day she was allowed to wear her knew clothes. Please note her glowing smile!!!!!

Anya, what can I say...she's got her new skirt on....not sure where the sweater came from or why she's wearing it in the summer, but she's pretty cute anyway. She's not looking forward to the 1st grade because she'll have homework!

My sisters!!! (Please note Mikayla's milk mustache from breakfast!!!!!!)

...and Mikayla STILL has her glowing smile, she really does love that outfit, even though I advised my mother to burn it!!!! We'll keep the picture for blackmail down the road when she starts dating!!!!

Harry Potter

I am not a reader to begin with, and have only read one complete series in my entire life, the series is "Sisterhood of the Traveling Pants" which I highly reccommend to EVERYONE!!!! I am new to Harry Potter as a book fan. I have seen the movies and have loved them, but thought I would give the books a try. I started at Book 1 about three weeks ago and have just finished reading...
Which, is the 4th book in a series of 7 as most of you will know. I started this book last Friday and absorbed the book all weekend and naturally couldn't put it down.

After reading each book and then comparing them to the movie, I have to say that I now understand why people prefer books over movies. I will start on Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix tonight and keep you posted on my progress. I am hoping to finish them all by the end of the month, which shouldn't be hard at the rate I read the last book. My husband says he's turned me into a monster as I used to be the one to complain about him reading in bed!!!!
