Happy Turkey Day
Just wanted to share some pictures with you from our wonderful weekend! We ate, relaxed, hung out, ate some more and did a little shopping. We had such a wonderful time with Matthew's family. We love having them close and we especially loved spending a few days with Matthew's sister from Boise (not to mention the time off work and school).

Miller Motorsports Park
Just wanted to post a few pictures of the activity I went to with work on Friday. We went karting at the Miller Motorsports Park in Tooele. It was a bit cold, but definitely a lot of fun. I drove like a snail though, I'm still cautious from my scooter accident. Enjoy the pictures! :)

Pathetic...
I was looking at my sister's blog this morning...has it really been 5 WEEKS since my last post!? My apologies, I'm completely pathetic and totally boring. I've been so enthralled in my seasons of Friends that I'm totally ignoring my husband, ironing, dishes, Grey's Anatomy, Private Practice, The Office and so many other wifey responsibilities. The worst part is I'm only half way through....5 seasons down and 5 more to go (I hope to still have a husband when I'm done).
In other news, I got a hair cut on Saturday. What do you think!?
Please disregard the frizz and the no makeup...I've attempted this picture several times in the car, but to no avail. I finally had to recruit my friend from work to help me out- hence the mug shot! It's taken a while to get used to, but I think I like the change.
I did vote yesterday and was horrified that I waited so long to go (I was not looking forward to the evening rush). Matthew and I headed to the poll's at 6:30pm with books in hand ready to wait in the long line. To our surprise there was none, that's right....NO LINE!!! We walked right up gave them our name, placed our vote, and walked out- in less than 10 minutes. It was a Miracle!
I'm counting down the days to AZ...48 to be exact! I'm looking forward to two weeks with friends, family and delicious food. Not to mention quality time with my adorable nieces and nephews.
I'm missing my father in my life. I pray every day that he knows how much I love him and miss him. I know he's watching over me and I hope he's proud of who I've become. I'm so grateful for the church and the plan of salvation.
I completely admire and look up to Stephanie and Christan Nielsen's Family. Their story is incredible and I feel moved by their strength, love, and determination.
I'm so blessed to have a husband who loves me and works hard for our family. I know that he is striving to make a life for us that we can enjoy. Money might be tight, but we're happy and totally in love. He'll be graduating in April of 2010. I'm totally excited for this!!!! Then on to Grad School...
I kicked butt at work this quarter!!! I brought in lots of money and closed lots of audits and I even surpassed all of my personal goals (which I thought would be nearly impossible)!!!
I'm loving the weather today- cold and snowing! If only I were home in bed watching Friends! ;)
I feel blessed at work, at home and in my callings and my relationships with my family and friends. I'm completely happy with my life!
Thank you for reading and Happy November! :)
P.S. I promise to post more often in the month of November.

Nora Belle
My sister Lori came up to visit last weekend with her boyfriend Vic and their 8-week old little girl Nora. We had such a great time visiting and hanging out. We spent some time up at Sundance and in Park City. I am surprised that the leaves have already started changing as of the first week in September. My favorite part of the trip was seeing my little Nora, she is such a doll!!!!! She slept with me every night and Matthew and I even got to babysit while Vic and Lori spent a night up in Park City. It was so much fun! She is such a great baby (only woke up once to eat in the middle of the night). I had so much fun with them! I only wish we lived closer so we could babysit more often! Hopefully we can talk them into coming back this winter for a ski trip! :)
My cute friend Bethany was kind enough to meet us at The Riverwoods to take some pictures of Nora. The reason I posted my pictures first was because hers are infinitely better! These are so beautiful. To see more of Nora and Bethany's work, please go here.

Happy Birthday...to ME!!!!!
I had a great birthday on the 7th of September. It started off with a surprise dinner at Olive Garden on Saturday night with some of my best friends. I was so surprised to see them there and so happy that they came to celebrate with me.
UsMatthew & I
Sunday we had Stake Conference and then we had lunch and cake and ice cream (what else do you do when your birthday falls on a Sunday!!??!). Matthew went downstairs to his brother's house to get my present which was this...
Me really excited about my new bike- I couldn't believe it! :)
The sweetness of Sunshine (my bike's name). It's a lemon drop yellow and is totally awesome. Since this picture was taken I got an awesome basket and bell from our friends.
On Tuesday, the 9th, we had a family party for my Nephew Andrew and I. Here are some pics from that.
