Connor & Lindsey's Wedding

Connor and Lindsey got married on December 29th in the Mount Timpanogos Temple. Lindsey is the last of my roommates from college to get married. We were all there with our husbands and we had a blast, although the weather was VERY cold!

Not a great picture of the bride and groom (I need a faster camera & they needed not to be walking so fast!)Me, Jessica, Kara, Jessica

Christmas...

These are a bit late!! Sorry it's been awhile, I've been busy out of town with Matthew's family for Christmas, and then my family visited for New Year's and I've been doing a few weddings (invitations) as well.

We had a wonderful Christmas with Matthew's family in Boise, ID. We ate a lot and mostly sang karaoke when we weren't eating! ;) His family is big on music and we go Christmas Caroling every Christmas Eve!

Savior of the World

A few weeks ago, when all the Temple Square Events went on sale for the Holiday Season, I decided to buy tickets to Savior of the World for Matthew and I and his whole family. We went to see the show on December 8th. It was such an incredible performance, one I recommend everyone seeing at least once. It a musical drama about the birth and resurrection of the Savior. It was so good and something that I was needing to see. My only regret is that we didn't have time to walk around Temple Square after the performance and see the Christmas lights.

L to R: Linda (Mother-in-law), Jenny (sister-in-law), Justin (Matthew's Youngest Brother), Matthew, Me, Jill (sister-in-law), and Nate (Matthew's oldest Brother)
The Allphin Women, minus Matthew's Older sister Kirsti who lives in Boise, and his younger sister Ashlee who is serving a mission in Uruguay.

Christmas Card

This year was the first year I actually sent out Christmas cards. I've always wanted to do them for someone else, but decided I should just do them for myself even though Matthew and I don't have any kids yet. I've had a few requests to post this, so here it is... Merry Christmas!

It's been so LONG....

It's been ENTIRELY too long....over a month to be exact. I can't believe I've been away for so long. Half of the month was spent with family in Arizona over Thanksgiving, I hope everyone had a FABULOUS Turkey Day! They other half has been working my tail off on two separate weddings and our Christmas Cards (posts on those coming soon...).

My trip was wonderful, except I didn't take very many pictures. I was in Arizona from November 10th-26th and I still didn't feel like I had enough time to see old friends and spend enough time with my family. My most favorite part of the trip was hitting all of my favorite places to eat, shop, and more eats!!!! These are my favorite to name a few:

Pete's Fish & Chips (ate there twice)
The Vine Wing & Tavern (also ate here twice)
Bahama Bucks (went at least once a day and sometimes twice, I'm a little obsessed with this wonderful shaved ice shack, especially when it's still 90* in the middle of November)
In-N-Out Burger (The fries are my favorite part of this place)
Dilly's Deli (This little Deli has the best sandwiches and soup/bread bowls)

I also got to go to the new mall in Gilbert which was fabulous and spend lots of time with Family and even see a few girls from High School. My trip was great, the only problem....I probably won't be back until NEXT Christmas....

My Cute niece Jayme, who turned had her 4th birthday while I was there.
My little nephew Cole, he just turned two in September.
Jake, he'll be 1 in a few short days!
My sister-in-law Amy & Cole

Happy Halloween!!!!

Unfortunately, I didn't get into Halloween too much this year. I didn't carve pumpkins, I didn't dress up and to tell you the truth I was working all night on Halloween. Every year, I have to work until midnight on Halloween, due to the nature of my position, I have to help in the end of the year order processing. Our fiscal year ends on October 31st EVERY year; therefore, I miss out on my Aunt and Uncle's famous Halloween Party along with everything else!!!

My work, however, does allow kids under 12 to come and trick or treat office to office and I was lucky enough to have my cute niece and nephew come to Novell and trick or treat to their Aunt Em!!!! That was by FAR the highlight of my LONG evening!!!! Happy Holidays!

Grace as the Bumble Bee!
Adorable!Cowboy Drew!!! Yeehaw!!!Look at his cute Chaps and Cowboy Hat!!!!The family at Novell- TRICK OR TREAT!!!!
