This is the birth announcement I did for my sister when I went to Boston in March. This one is probably one of my favorites (mostly because it's my adorable niece).

Behold....my new camera! The NIKON COOLPIX S52 (AKA the sweetest camera EVER!)

I won a new 1GB iPod Nano from my work for my sweet efforts last quarter and I didn't want it, not so much an iPod person (I know, I know). Our camera broke about 6 months ago and we haven't really had $200 + to replace it, so I've gone without (hence no pictures in the last little while). So, when I got the iPod I figured, this is a great time to get one. I took the iPod back and looked at the possibilities for a digital camera and found out that this one had a $50.00 coupon starting today! So, I went on my lunch break and spent $0.00 on this sweet camera at Costco.

Today is the best day ever! Don't worry, you will be seeing LOTS of sweet pictures now! Did I tell you I'm REALLY excited!? :)

Grandma Glenny

My sweet grandma passed away on Saturday April 5th from complications to open heart surgery she had had earlier in the week. I was able to get a few days off and fly home for the funeral. It was a nice service and so wonderful to be with my family for a few days. Its times like this when family is most precious to me in my life. I'm grateful we were all there to support each other. The weather was so beautiful and I realized how much I miss Arizona.

Are you tired of clicking on everyone's blog to see if they've recently posted...just to find out that it's still the SAME post from TWO weeks ago!?!?!? If this is you and you seem to be frustrated at the fact that there is no other solution to this madness...look no further than Google Reader!!!!! This is the best invention!!! All you have to do is click on "Add subscription", paste in the URL and voile!!! You have subscribed to your first Blog.

The best part about Google Reader is that it will tell you when someone has updated their blog. Also (my favorite feature), you can subscribe to anyone's blog that allows RSS feed (x-boyfriend, friend of a friend, your boyfriend's x-girlfriend). Basically, it's pretty sweet AND you can manage your subscriptions, classify them into groups and such.

I promise...you won't be disappointed once you start with Google Reader!!!! :)

Rock On!!!!

Okay, I'm in desperate need of some help! I am the Girl's Camp Director this year and the theme is Rock On! We are going to have a Rock Concert one evening of camp where we perform a song that has the word "rock" incorporated into it. We also have to come up with a "Rock Band" Name. Some examples are below:

Band Names:
The Cold Stones
Fruity Pebbles

"Rock" Songs:
"Rock On"
"Rock the Boat"
"We Will Rock You!"
"I am a Rock, I am an Island"
"Jailhouse Rock"
"I Love Rock and Roll"

I cannot use these as other wards have already taken them. Please comment with your ideas, especially Rock Band Names! :)
