My wish list....

4th book in the Twilight Series which comes out on August 2nd. (I might have to buy myself an early birthday present)! :)

Our T-Mobile plan is almost expired....I'm really leaning towards this phone with Sprint. Did I mention free nights and weekends starting at 7pm!?

It seems silly, but totally a must with all the paper mail we receive for bills and such. I've kept all of them since we've been married...I think it's time to purchase a shredder!

Yes, this is a boy's bike, however, I still like it! :) I want one so I can start taking bike rides up the trail.

My newest hobby. Which would be much more enjoyable if I actually owned a sewing machine.

And last, but certainly not least a new set of scriptures. I'm still sporting the ones I got when I was eight....I would LOVE to have a new set. Although, I'm afraid I rely too much on the markings and inserts that I have in my 'used' scriptures. This could be a challenge...

American Idol Tour 2008

I have about a hundred other photos from the concert, most of which didn't turn out, but I had a blast!!!!! About a week before the show we were lucky enough to get VIP tickets to sit in the 4th row and go backstage afterwards. Seriously, so FUN! It was great to see Brooke! She did phenomenal!!!!!!! I can't wait 'til she comes back to tour on her own! I know Tiff and I will be there! I've been reading her blog on myspace about her adventures and it exhausts me just to read about it! I'm surprised they have the energy they do!!!!! Incredible! :)

You've Had a Birthday.....

...Shout HOORAY!!!!! I just want to give a quick shout out to two of my favorite people. First and foremost, I want to wish my mother a very HAPPY Birthday!!!! I won't give you her age, but she was 25 when I was born (hehe).

I know everyone says this, but she seriously is the most amazing mother in the world. She's a saint and has raised her kids well...all 11 of us! She's truly one of the most selfless people on this earth. I love her very much and I am so grateful to have her in my life. Happy Birthday MOM!!!!!!! I hope you have a fabulous day! You mean the world to me and I'll always be you baby! MUA!



My other shout out is to my adorable friend Bethany (b-town, bettan, beth). She's the greatest!!!! She's helped me so much in the past few months with my calling and given me more support then she'll ever know. She's a great photographer and she's never afraid to go for her dreams. You should seriously check out her stuff. I'm so grateful to have met her and to share so many memories and experiences with her. Happy Birthday Beth, lots of love to you on your BIG 2-4!!!!!! HIP Hip!!!!!

AHHHHH!!!!

Camp is in TWO WEEKS!!!!!!! Don't be mad if you don't hear from me for a while. I'm going crazy and I'm exhausted.....hopefully everything comes together...

Just my luck...

So, I have bi-monthly performance reviews with my manager. I had one on Monday morning. I walked in and sat down, about 5 minutes into the meeting he notices the road rash on my arm and says, "Okay, I just saw your arm, what happened?"

I begin to tell him the awesome Vespa accident that happened on Saturday and also the incident with my thumb and the sander at the Happy Factory on Thursday. I finish both stories and he says, "You know, bad things happen in threes, right?"

I thought to myself...."I canNOT believe you just said that out loud". Sure I had been thinking it, but to say it out loud!?!?!?! Unbelievable!

About four hours later, I went to lunch with a friend from work. We were driving on a major road when we stopped at a red light......the guy behind us wasn't paying attention and he didn't stop! We got REAR ENDED!!!!!

My friend that was driving suffered from a concussion (luckily she went straight to the doctor after the accident). I'm a little sore, but doing okay! I came back to work and told my boss that it was all his fault...

I sure hope I'm done with bad luck for a while. I don't think I've ever been this accident prone. Sheesh!

Who wrecks on a Vespa Scooter!?!?!

The pictures below tell it all, however, for those of you that are curious, I will tell the little story of how I wrecked on the Vespa. Our sweet neighbor offered to let me and my husband take her Vespa for a ride after our Shish-ka-bobs on Saturday night. Matthew and I drove around the block and then he asked me if I wanted to try it. "It's easier than riding a bike!" So, I tried it...Matthew was on the back of the scooter with me and I wasn't riding more than 10 seconds, when I freaked out pulled the throttle and sent the bike and Matthew flying on top of me. It's pretty sweet....the pictures below put my thumb to shame, which is the least of my worries now.

PS. I was wearing Capris and flip flops.....WHAT was I thinking!?!?!?!?
