Kalee inspired me with her awesome sewing skills! I'm now committed to making my crib bedding although there is no baby in the near future (I'm nesting, okay!?). I hear Bernina makes the BEST sewing machine! So, I'm in need of this:
I've collected elephants since I was a little girl and I've always wanted to do my nursery in elephants (I know what your think, but it's not the circus elephant, it's the classy, natural look of elephants)...I found this cute post at Oh Fransson yesterday. She has also inspired me and now my creative juices are flowing. I found these other colors on Etsy.com. All the more reason to get my new sewing machine, yes!?

I also like these as well:
I never knew such cute elephant fabric existed! :)

Pool Day

Matthew and I went to the pool a few weeks ago with our niece and nephew. We had such a fun time with them even though the weather wasn't as hot as we would have liked it to be. This is something we'll definitely have to do again next year!

Jordan & Johanna's Wedding

Matthew and I attended his cousin's wedding on Saturday at the Sun River Gardens in Orem. The wedding was beautiful, the company was awesome and the food was FABULOUS!!! Not to mention the atmosphere was amazing too! We failed to get any pictures of the bride and groom or the decorations, food, etc., but we did manage to take photos of ourselves...(we're so self involved)! :)

Black Canyon

Matthew went on a backpacking trip with his dad and brother last week to the Black Canyon in Colorado. They hike everything in and eat mostly fish while there. I sure missed him while he was gone, but I'm glad he got to go before school starts. Maybe someday I'll be brave enough to try this trip with him.

Matthew's Birthday

Matthew's birthday was so fun and relaxing. We decided to just have a family get together in the evening with dinner and the Olympics. The night before Matthew decided he wanted these amazing quesadillas for dinner, so we ended up having a little fiesta with a pinata and all! Enjoy the pictures!
