The new addition to our family...

Edna, our '06 Volkswagen Passat. My brother DJ is the Used Car Manager at the Larry Miller Volkswagen Dealership in Avondale. We weren't planning on getting a car while we were there, but we got an amazing deal. After 4 and 1/2 years of marriage this is our biggest purchase so far and we love having her in the family!

Anya's Baptism

01/01/2009: Anya turned 8 on the 1st of January. We had a 9am baptism New Year's Day!!! It was a pretty early morning, but it was such a special day for her and I am so glad we were able to be there.

New Year's Eve

12/31: We drove up to my mom's house in Overgaard on New Year's Eve. We had over 30 people up there from my family which including siblings, spouses, grandkids, grandparents, my aunt and her kids and a few extra family friends. We stayed at the Bison Ranch just down the street and had a great time. Here are a few pics from New Year's Eve- lots more to come...

The Vine with Friends

12/30: One of our favorite things about going to Arizona is eating all the delicious food that Utah doesn't have: Bahama Bucks, Pete's Fish and Chips, IN 'N' OUT, etc.

My favorite thing to eat while we're there is wings. Arizona has some of the best wings and Utah doesn't, which is unfortunate. We were able to meet up with my friends from High School and go to The Vine for wings. So delicious!!! I had such a great time hanging out with them. I only wish we could plan a monthly date to go get wings at The Vine.

Arizona Temple Lights

12/27: We met up with some of my siblings to go see the Arizona Temple Lights. For those of you that haven't seen them, they are beautiful! It was a perfect time to go because there were no crowds. The weather was cold for Arizona, but we managed. We had a wonderful time and went to Denny's afterward to hang out. I think this was one of my favorite nights in Arizona...
